How it works

ExpertTranslateAI runs entirely in your browser. Your text is sent straight toOpenRouter with an API key that you own and that is stored only on this device. There is no server in between.

Pipeline

Long texts are split into balanced chunks. Each chunk is translated with the whole document as context so terminology stays consistent. Code, URLs and placeholders are protected before translation and restored after. Later versions add multi-model translation, review, judging, glossaries and translation memory.

Privacy and your key

• The key is kept in this browser's local storage. Anyone with access to this browser profile can use it.
• Set a spending limit on the key in your OpenRouter dashboard.
• Use "Forget key" in Settings to remove it at any time.
